The Baby Shopping Checklist will help you

Dear soon to be first time parent,

You’re not alone. I remember well my feelings before I had my first child …
How was I going to cope?
             Was I prepared?
Did I really need all those advertised baby products?

Pregnant women around the world are faced with these same challenges. Having a limited budget, I didn’t want to waste my time and money buying baby products I wouldn’t use, or could really do without. I was amazed you really didn’t need to buy as much as I expected. Seeing other first time mothers facing the same questions and asking for my parenting tips I started keeping a record of what was working for me. The Baby Shopping Checklist is my own handy shopping list of baby essentials answering these important questions

  1. What baby products to buy and why – bathroom, breast pads, creams
  2. How many of each item to buy?
  3. What’s optional – even if your pregnancy magazines are saying you should
  4. What not to bother buying and most importantly why?
  5. What to take to the maternity hospital
  6. Plus what your partner should take to the hospital

AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!!! Check out the Table of Contents

In the Baby Shopping Checklist I share my practical insights which are helping parents all around the world. I have condensed, re-edited and simplified the contents for you to keep this shopping directory to only 84 pages.

As a first time mother I counsel you to take every opportunity you can to prepare yourself. I am so encouraged by the wonderful time and financial savings mothers just like you have already experienced. You will easily save the price of my baby shopping directory by not spending money on unnecessary items. The peace of mind of being prepared will be worth a lot more to you. You can now get my e-book in seconds. It's 100% downloadable. Or you can order the beautiful ring bound version which is designed for your hand bag.

Happy mothering!

Your Baby Shopping Checklist helps you prepare for the birth of your child.

This baby products consumer guide was born out of my own research and experiences during pregnancy.

cute baby
  • my checklist has helped many of my pregnant friends
  • they have helped their friends by giving the book as a baby shower gift
  • this checklist will help you prepare your life and home

As a nurse I spent years helping other people. When I was pregnant with my first child I was the one needing help. Choosing baby names and meaning of names was relatively easy. As a nurse I understood about the first signs of pregnancy and giving birth. What I wanted was practical help, time saving help, money saving help. I had limited time and a limited budget. As each day of my pregnancy calendar passed I realized I was not alone in my limited knowledge of what was important as a first time Mom.

My own mother is an inspiring woman. Yet she was living in another State. What’s more she experienced child birth, breastfeeding and raising babies in a different era. It’s true the basics don’t change. Yet go shopping or open a parenting magazine and you are confronted by a confusing array of seemingly “MUST HAVE” baby and breastfeeding products. There are things my mother could never have imagined. I could have bought only what my mother used. Surprisingly though many of the new products, not available for our mothers, really do help. The challenge was finding which ones.

Like most first time mothers I learnt by trial and error. I can now say “been there, done that”. My desire is to help you avoid the same unnecessary frustrations and save you time and money. I thought surely someone has created a book, ebook or online shopping list to help mums and their infants through the maze. But I couldn’t find a good one. I didn’t want a big book with lots of text to read. I am too busy for that. Just tell me what I need to know. They were too short and simple, full of paid advertising or included stuff which I didn’t need. I wanted something more, something impartial, something which gave me advice not just a list, something trialed by a real person – someone like me who I could trust not a paid celebrity. What was needed was a practical work book I could put in my handbag and tick off as I shopped. Something which could help me avoid the impulse buys and the high pressure sales people.

My very patient husband can testify to the times I sent him shopping to pick something up, or find a different brand, because I didn’t have something, or what I had wasn’t working. If the Baby Shopping Checklist helps remove your need for these extra last minute shopping journeys it will be well worth while for both you and your partner.

some expectant mothers order the ebook, then discover they really like the content and realize for an extra few dollars they can have a beautiful ring bound version. Other women buy an ebook for themselves and then a ring bound book for a friend’s baby shower gift. I have designed this as a time saving workbook. There’s room for your notes and ticking off each item as you go. The content is the same in both the ebook and ring bound book.

It’s frustrating to have a new baby yet realize you are unprepared with the basics after giving birth. Sending your partner to the shops for missing items can be avoided. This simple yet extensive shopping guide with printable to do lists ensures you are prepared and can focus on more important things. How much is the feeling of being prepared worth to you? You can get instant access to Baby Shopping Checklist for a small investment.
